Of course I’ll write a book about affiliate marketing! The draft can be read live on Google Docs, where you can see when I write (and correct my typos). The first subscription was sold for 1 SEK/month, the second for 2 SEK and so on. The book shows both future possibilities and what you can do right now.

Writing an affiliate marketing handbook

Today I’m becoming a writer and I’m actually going to let you watch what I’m typing, while I’m typing. This way you will always have the latest version of my book even before it’s published. I’m using Google Docs, and that’s great, because you’ll be able to make comments and help me correct typos immediately, right? ;)

My book is about affiliate marketing because I overflow with ideas of how the perfect affiliate network should be like. I will tell you the hidden truth about how thing works today. Many interesting challenges and opportunities will be revealed, giving you the knowledge to see where things are wrong. Because this is no lottery, we need to set standard and be clear about how it should work.

• So, is tax, shipping, vouchers included when calculating the commission?
• And if the tracking stops working, how is compensation calculated?
• A lot of money is in the system, so let me tell you more about it…

Four years I’ve been working at TradeDoubler helping affiliates to understand the system, what works and what won’t. To advertisers I’ve shown the tracking, giving them step-by-step instructions without using the official 43 pages(!) user manual. But this book isn’t about my former employer, I will reveal no secrets.

Now, one year later I’ve just moved to London, running my web development business from here. I still work with some Swedish clients and I still have a one or two other projects going on. But this new book about affiliate marketing is what will wake me up in the morning, so I hope you will rise with me.

This book is going to be of big value for everyone working with affiliate marketing. Even people at TradeDoubler may want to buy it, or companies like Apple or Amazon who should know everything about affiliate, but don’t. But I really need everyones support.
